mea villa is, as the name indicates, a real estate, tourism and trade limited company that was founded in the year 2005 in Izmir. From its date of foundation to this day, mea villa has been specialising in the organisation of holiday home rentals in close cooperation with Europe.

mea villa was founded with the purpose of taking part of Turkey’s real estate sector whilst being in close cooperation with Europe, thus being active in real estate sales and rentals. Strategically its priority has been in rentals. The reason is to start off with the part of the business mea villa is a specialist in, thus providing the necessary infrastructure and expansion of the company.

In order to understand this, it is helpful to take a look at the company’s past.

• mea villa is a limited company, consisting of 4 partners.
• Two of the partners, Aydoğan Ceniz and Müfit Tarhan were the founders and owners of Nazar Reisen, the company to bring 350.000 people to Turkey each season. Nowadays Nazar Reisen belongs to First Choice. These two partners have also founded the travel agency chain Holiday Express, which is especially active in German airports, and later sold the company to Otto at a good price.
• Shortly after Nazar Reisen was founded in 1986, it started a cooperation with the İzmir-based rental organization, and thus became the leading German tour operator of holiday home rentals. Nazar Reisen remained the German Leader in this market until 1998 by sending approximately 2.500 – 3.500 people per season to holiday homes in Turkey.
• mea villa's other partner, Erdoğan Sivritepe (currently the general manager of mea villa) is the person to launch the first weekly-based-rental-organisation on a large scale in Turkey. This rental organization, that was founded by Erdoğan Sivritepe in 1986 independently of Nazar Reisen, operated under vaious company names (AS Turizm, Sivritepe Turizm, Meltem Tur, Villa Ajans) until late 1998. During this time Nazar Reisen (Düsseldorf) was not the only tour operator that Erdoğan Sivritepe was the partner and Turkish representative of, but also Türkis Reisen (Berlin), Ameropa Reisen (Frankfurt), Wolters Reisen (Bremen), Marmara (Paris) and Bosphorus (Brussels).

In addition to the above mentioned tour operators, from time to time mea villa undergoes minor cooperations with BENTOUR / Switzerland, DOMIZILE REISEN / Germany, OLYMPIA / Netherlands, FSM REISEN / Germany, INCENTIVE / Austria.

Since its foundation, mea villa’s priority has been meeting the demands of the tour operators that it cooperates with. Additionally, mea villa is in the process of renewing the presentation of the houses on its website in order to market the houses by its own means. The German language version of this Presentation will be launched first and will be presented by mea villa’s strategic partner FERIOO (Germany/Düsseldorf).
